I love Asian designs
I had a full weekend and was only able to work in a little crafting, but the experiment I tried worked out great. I love Asian designs, and one of the most iconic images from Japan would be the cherry blossom or sukura. I made an armature of wire and then covered it in brown scrap clay. The flowers where supper simple. They are transparent clay run through the pasta machine on three and cut with a cutter/shown in the pic. The flowers are attached with liquid polymer clay. After baking I rubbed a q-tip in paint and smoothed on the edges of the blossoms then lightly wiped the paint off. This left just a light blush of pink on the petals edges. Now I just need to figure out to incorporate into a necklace
